The final Sunday Session on 22 Aug 2010 started out overcast and cloudy with the weatherman predicting heavy rain and thunderstorms! Despite the weather, we had a good turn out for the event with everyone rushing under cover when the rain came down whilst the band played on!!

The afternoon started with the Open Mic Competition Final, a packed hour of quality acts that made it very difficult for the judges! Line up included:
That Blue Patch - Because the Night (Patti Smith/Bruce Springsteen), Chuck is in Love (Rickie Lee Jones)
Alan & Paul - Red Rooster (Hendrix), Smoke on the Water
Mark Harris - original songs Maxine and Take That Chance
Eloah - original tracks Rise Again and Whatever,
Lucy Orme - Is You Is or Is You Ain't My Baby, also a song accompanied by Paul on guitar
Kirsten Greenwood (the cam failed to record her set and I didn't jot down the song titles!)

After a short break, RoXi and the Blue Cats took the stage for the first of three sets during the afternoon. As always the tight band had people up dancing and singing along to their selection of blues covers, interspersed with some original songs. During the break, popular singer/songwriter Jim Dawson provided a great set of folk/pop/mor songs, accompanying himself on guitar and harmonica.
