Following on from a successful if somewhat drizzly opening day on the 13 August with Keith Pearson's top UK Folk/Bluegrass band Coup de Grass, the Electric Blues Club continued it's Sunday Sessions at Broomfield Park this weekend with a hit kicking set by local lads The Biz accompanied by..... ex Frankie Goes To Hollywood guitarist Brian Nash http://www.nasher.co.uk on guitar and vocals.

The young band can be seen in various line ups, as these excellent musicians and singers are always in demand. All of them took a turn on lead vocals whilst the other band members supported with backing and harmony vocals throughout the set. Fellow EBClub members are sure to recognise the guys and they often perform with guitarist/songwriter Noel Martin who is currently in France. Nothing fazes these lads who flew in another great guitarist and singer Damien from Ireland especially for the event!

The crowd gathered, enjoying the sunshine to listen to Dan (bass guitar), Myer (guitar), Niol (drums) and Damien (guitar), perform songs from a variety of pop/rock artists including The Beatles, Stealers Wheels and Bon Jovi which had everyone from teenies to oldies singing along and bopping on the grass before Nasher joined them to do a selection of rocking original tracks from his album Ripe! Nasher will be back in the studio soon to record a live album so don't forget to check his site often for news!
